The Richard Dimbleby Cancer Information and Support Service is dedicated to providing information and support for patients with cancer living in South-East London and West Kent. Cancer-related information is also available to relatives, friends and health professionals.

The drop-in and telephone information service is staffed by health professionals who enable clients to find information about treatments and other relevant issues. There is a library of books, leaflets, audio and videotapes and there is also access to cancer related information on the Internet.

The information service is also developing individualised information folders specific to the care provided within the Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Cancer Centre and Cancer Units. The aim is that these will be available to patients at each stage of their 'cancer journey' from the health professionals involved in their care.
